Ella is 9 months old today - her first year is flying by! She is now rolling and scooting to reach toys and she is really close to crawling. She is currently rocking on all fours trying to catch up with her big brother! Ella is also standing for longer periods, so I can leave her at the leap frog table long enough to get some pictures of her standing all by herself!
This month she also started sleeping on her belly. It was a rough transition - the first week she cried until we came in to roll her over, but now she has gotten used to sleeping that way and these past 3 nights has actually been sleeping until 4-5am without waking up!
Ella has also been saying Mama which is pretty sweet. She started doing this in IL when I had to leave her every day. I guess absense makes the heart grow fonder!
I have also started feeding her finger foods which she is very fond of! So far, she has eaten ham, turkey, cheese, bread, banana, pears, cheerios, rice krispies, and puffs.
Ella's first bike ride last week was also a success. Since she passed her trial run, we will be buying her a seat for the back of my bike.
