Shortly after moving here, Ben became fascinated with the heating vents (he calls them pipes) that are on the tops of houses. For a few weeks when we pulled into our driveway and the pipe came into view he would exclaim "Pipe Time!!!". I walked in our room a few weeks ago and found Ben like this. When I asked him what he was doing, he told me that he was pretending to be a pipe. How I love this crazy kid!

You know that he's going to be an inventor, or an engineer, or a airplane pilot, or the owner of a chain of laundromats or maybe the owner of the largest heating and air-conditioning company in America. Of course, Ben being Ben he will probably be all of the above. He gets cuter and cuter. I miss you all soooo much - I just want to reach into the computer and hug and kiss them.
