Weekend in Sebring

We spent MLK weekend with Carl's grandparents in Sebring. Carl was able to get in 27 holes of golf with Grandpa and Ben was able to get in about 500 loads of laundry! Grandma spoiled us with great food and Ben was delighted that he got to eat dessert after lunch and dinner! He had his first taste of mint meltaways on this trip. Grandpa told him that Grandma always has a stash on hand at their house - a tip that I'm sure Ben will not forget!

Ella had lots of cuddle time with Grandma and especially liked sitting in the sun room. She loved sitting across the table from Grandpa and was very entertained by him during meals!

Ben discovered that Grandma's washer/dryer had their own special closet shortly after we arrived and he was good to go for the rest of the weekend!
And while her washer was "busy", he had his back up washer going in the living room. . . .

Ben also had fun looking for orange trees at the state park nearby and on walks through the neighborhood. He was very impressed (and so was I!) when his Daddy shimmied up a wild orange tree to grab a few oranges for him!

Before leaving, we stopped at our favorite orange grove to pick up honeybells and grapefruit. We couldn't resist eating a couple on the drive home! Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Drake for another wonderful weekend!
