I'm a little late, but Ella turned 7 months on Jan 22nd. We're still holding out hope that this will be the big month that she ends her multiple late night shenanigans! She is much more bright-eyed than her momma in the mornings!! 
She loves her toys and puts everything in her mouth. She is still not motivated enough to crawl towards them, however, she has perfected a very impressive reach! And, much like her brother, she is still not a huge fan of rolling over. And now that she can sit up, she is not a happy girl when I lay her down on the floor to play. She likes to be sitting up so she can see what's going on (and also to protect herself from her unpredictable brother!). She is also big enough for wagon rides and feels very grown up swinging with her friends at the park! 
While Ben is still Ella's favorite person, she has made it very clear that sometimes she needs her personal space. She no longer finds it amusing when he takes a toy out of her hand and throws it across the room! Lately, Ben has become quite the little Daddy. He takes very good care of his stuffed animals and Carl was very relieved when Ben decided to wean them and give bottles instead of nursing! He also likes to cuddle up and take "naps" with Ella and they love to play in her crib together!

Love this little girl! She so reminds me of Kristin S.'s little Sadie. Both, little dolls with the dark hair, brows, and eyes! I love it! And, glad to hear Ben is no longer breastfeeding :) Miss you a LOT!
