A couple of days after we got home from the hospital, a few of the neighborhood kids came to see the newest member of our block. Our street is full of kids, but most of them are a few years older than Ben and Ella. Fortunately, they are a really great group and are wonderful to Ben and Ella. They will even ring our doorbell to see if the kids can go outside and play! We have started to let Ben go across the street to play without us, and he is feeling like big stuff! After waiting all day for them to get home from school a couple of weeks ago, he finally saw them out playing basketball. He came running into Ella's room and said, "Oh, Mommy, I am so excited I can feel my heart beating in my ears!"
This is the cookie bouquet that a couple of our neighbors brought over for us. Ben and Ella got Big Brother and Big Sister cookies and Dylan's said New Kid on the Block.
