Sick!

Ben caught a nasty GI bug this week. This is what he looked like after 36 hours of vomiting, with minimal sleep. The poor guy could not even keep water down! He woke up Wednesday around midnight covered head to toe in vomit and continued to throw up for the next day and a half. I slept with him in the guest bed since he usually didn't wake up until he was throwing up all over himself. I could hear his little tummy start to rumble seconds before it was going to happen, so at least I was prepared with a towel and bucket! We spent yesterday cuddling on the couch while watching Elmo, Animal Planet, and home videos of Ben. I could feel our brains turning to mush, but I did like all of the snuggle time!

3:00pm this afternoon

This is a picture of Ben after a 3.5 hour nap, long walk and trip to the park in 78 degree weather, and juice, dry Rice Krispies, and Goldfish successfully eaten! Thankfully he has turned a HUGE corner and looks like he is starting to feel like his old self again. What a difference a few hours can make!
